#89 - Reaching Your Goals... One Gig at a Time

from Business Side of Music · host The Business Side of Music Podcast

Bill Cinque at the age of 19, started out like every other musician playing with friends, at local coffee houses and bar gigs. But his goals were far loftier than most. He wanted to perform at the Hollywood Bowl and Madison Square Garden. Bill went on and accomplished both over the next 30+ years (and so much more), yet still playing the clubs and one-offs in between the "Big Gigs". During his journey, he's performed with the likes of Neil Diamond, members of "The Hollies" & "The Bay City Rollers", "Chad & Jeremy", "Jerry & The Pacemakers", Peter Asher, and Denny Laine (of "The Moody Blues" and Paul McCartney's "Wings" fame). He's also had over 200 placements of his music in film and television. He's now written a book titled "The Amazing Adventures of a Marginally Successful Musician", and is preparing to release a video series on what it takes to make it as a performer in the music business.
