It's about two friends who get into a heap of trouble horsing around in Alabama. They drop their curiously injured friend Dick Long off at the emergency room one night, and the suspense that ensues next leads the audience down a path they'll never forget (for better or for worse). Since 2019 and the success of Everything Everywhere All At Once, The Death of Dick Long has garnered somewhat of a cult following amongst A24 fans as a dark comedy with beautiful cinematography.
