89. The Parent Trap with special guest Rufino Cabang

We watched The Parent Trap (1961) with our friend Rufino Cabang and we're seeing double! We're not saying the original classic from the 60's is superior to the remake 90's remake but... ok yes we are. It's better. Haley Mills is delightful as twins separated by their selfish... I mean misguided recently divorced parents. How this cockamamie plan got past family court is a mystery but it makes for an amazing movie.  It's got everything; split-screen movie magic, fabulous mid-century modern ranch style homes and a swinging soundtrack featuring Disney mainstay Annette Funicello.
