This once in a lifetime opportunity fell into the lap of Arthur Kriticos and his family once Arthur's ghost collecting uncle, Cyrus, dies. You ever just get a house out of the blue with no strings attached? A little fishy, sure, but in any case, they're taking it. Popular in the late 90's and early 2000's, Tony Shalhoub, Shannon Elizabeth, and Matthew Lillard head Thir13en Ghosts, which is a remake of the 1960's horror, 13 Ghosts.
