Maybe that fork is about moving to a new town or maybe taking a new job or saying yes to a proposal. How do you know what you’re supposed to do? God answered that for His wandering people by giving them Himself, by guiding them with His presence. He showed up as a cloud during the day and as a pillar of fire at night. His presence left no doubt as to what they should do.
