Send us Fan MailGod had been good to Nehemiah and his people – He had been miraculously good to them. So they rightly decided to live a life of gratitude and obedience to the Lord. They even signed a covenant among themselves committing themselves to a godly lifestyle. As they came to the end of what that covenant contained, they declared, “We will not neglect the house of our God.” Should we choose to live a godly, obedient, grateful life, we too would declare, “We will not neglect the house of our God.”
