9.11: Christians Need to Come Together in this Sinful World

This next chapter in Peter’s first letter covers two hot topics: getting  along with each other and getting along with the government. We always  have to keep in mind that outsiders are watching us. They’re watching  how we behave. They pay attention to how we react to situations that are  beyond our control and to those that are. Christians are called to be  model citizens. If you want to reap all the benefits of salvation including the 1-way, non-stop ticket to Heaven then… Believe. Repent. Be Baptized. Receive the Holy Spirit.  Pray this prayer humbly and wholeheartedly… “Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins. Please forgive me. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and my life to you. I confess You as my personal Lord and Savior.
