Many people forget that the 9-11 attacks also involved the Pentagon, which for decades, was the largest office building in the world and is still a symbol of US military power since World War 2. My guest, Joe Duffus, has been a frequent guest on this podcast. In 2001, we and several others shared an office in the tallest building in Northern Virginia (only a mile and a half from the Pentagon and just over a narrow river to Washington DC, our nation’s capital). Through floor to ceiling picture windows on the 24th floor, we mutually witnessed that morning's attack on the Pentagon, which killed 184 people.
