9-18-26 Conservative Commandos: Parents beg for custody of their transgender teen after school allegedly convinced child to transition!! Devout Catholic parents in Massachusetts are begging for custody of their teenage daughter after they claim her school allegedly convinced her to secretly transition. Joseph and Arlene Kutzko have not seen or heard from their daughter, Sophie, 17, since 2024, after she was allegedly removed from their home by the Department of Children and Families (DCF) because they do not acknowledge her as a boy due to their faith, the couple told Fox News reporter Lauren Green. The husband and wife have claimed that staff at Sophie's school, Algonquin Regional High School, 'exposed' Sophie to gender ideologies without their knowledge, they told Green on her Lighthouse Faith podcast. Joseph told the outlet that it all started after administrators and counselors at the Public Schools of Northborough and Southborough 'exposed' Sophie to 'LGBTQ teachings and topics that conflict with our Catholic beliefs.' According to her father, Sophie 'became more withdrawn from the family' in late November 2024. At the time, she was 15 years old, Joseph said. Sophie also started to stay after school for 'counseling' about gender transitioning, but Joseph and Arlene were told that the sessions involved her getting extra help in math, they claimed to the outlet. The couple, who got visibly emotional while talking about their child, said they had no clue what was going on until the school alerted state services and took Sophie from their care. 'We didn't find out until after Sophie was removed,' he said. 'It came on like a tornado.' Joseph and Arlene Kutzko said that their daughter, Sophie (far left), 17, was allegedly taken away from them after they did not agree to acknowledge her as a male. According to the couple, Sophie's school helped her navigate her transition Vernadette Broyles, the couple's lawyer who works with the Child and Parental Rights Campaign, said that the school participated in 'secret transitioning' after learning that 'Sophie had started to reject her sex.' 'The school began to use male pronouns and non-binary pronouns to refer to her by a male name in these secret counseling sessions that we suspect to affirm this rejection of her sex. And all of this was happening completely secret to the parents,' Broyles told Green. The couple is now fighting to keep Sophie from receiving high-dose testosterone - something that does not qualify as 'ordinary' medical care and needs consent from parents or permission from the court, Broyles argued. She said that they have since filed a motion to block this from happening. 'We are actively fighting in court to keep them from really poisoning this young lady with testosterone. 'We are actively fighting because DCF wants to proceed with this,' their lawyer continued. DCF has also gone on to accuse the mother and father of alleged abuse against their daughter, they explained.
