Send us Fan Mail I once heard Adrian Rogers tell the story of a frog watching a gaggle of geese prepare to fly south for the winter. The frog asked to go with them, but the geese said they had no way of toting him. So the frog gathered one long, sturdy stick, and asked one goose to put one end in his mouth and another goose to put the other end in his mouth. Then the frog could hold on with his mouth to the middle of the stick, and they could carry him down south with them. Everything was going well when a farmer below saw what was going on, and the farmer said, “That’s the most ingenious thing I have ever seen. I wonder whose idea that was.” And the frog said, “Miiiiiiiiiiine.” When we are filled with pride, we will surely fall to its peril.
