9.29: What Does it Mean to be Faithful?

Hebrews chapter 11 is considered the “faith  chapter”. Why? Because it tells the stories of people who were faithful  to God no matter what. They depended on God to get them through their  problems and issues. Their faith was unshakeable. Is yours? What is Faith? Before we let the Holy Spirit define it, what do you think faith is?  Is it having religion? Is it going to church every Sunday? Do you have  faith because you were born into a certain religion? Do you read the  Bible every day faithfully? Do you pray faithfully? Living the Future in the Present God’s Word makes the future as real as the present. God keeps His  promises! Moreover, He promises rewards to those who are faithful. Being  faithful, as we will see, includes… Obedience Sacrifice Endurance Conviction Fearlessness Sharpening Vision Certainty Confidence Overcoming Difficulties Endurance Hope Assurance Joy Recognizing our Need for God If your life isn’t full of these elements, then pay close attention to this chapter… Keep reading in my blog.... Receive the Holy Spirit.  Pray this prayer humbly and wholeheartedly… “Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins. Please forgive me. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and my life to you. I confess You as my personal Lord and Savior.
