Truth In The Afternoon begins with Dr. Ken Harris touching on the senseless violence and loss occurring within the community, mainly involving the youth as numerous people under the ages of 18 have lost their lives just in the last few days. Dr. Ken calls on Truth Nation to ask if this current generation is too soft or being coddled so much that they are losing their way and their toughness. Further into the hour Dr. Ken shifts focus to our communities, and the idea of a citizens watch, aimed at keeping the peace and sustaining a sense of control over the ongoings nearby, as well aa changing some of the requirements and barriers for those deemed unfit to rent in the long run. Tackling discrimination, wages, and other concerns for those seeking housing, Dr. Ken shares a few gems and experiences from his own life to add to the conversation.
