9-6-22: Don't get paralyzed by fear
from SAX IN THE MORNING · host Steve Sax
I would love to hear from you, just send me text and let me know what you think of the podcast. When it comes to making big changes in your life or walking through inevitable change, there is a part of the process that you cannot avoid. That part is fear. Fear is inescapable yet so many of us try to run from it. You hear people say “face your fear” but I think what’s even more important is to just accept it and lean into it as part of the process. The more you accept fear as part of the process, the easier it becomes to ignore that voice that’s telling you to “stop,” “go back,” or “what if you fail.” Fear is unavoidable in the process of change and change is an important and beautiful part of your life growing and changing. So embrace and accept that fear, because it’s a sign that things are changing, not a warning to make sure they stay the same. Visit my website: saxinthemorning.com for merchandise and other links.
