9: Are you avoiding your emotions and core wounds causing intense triggers to overwhelm you?

from The Devotional Woman Podcast · host Monique Carmela

Often we wait until we're in incredible pain before we do something or change something in our lives. Being creatures of comfort, if something is slightly uncomfortable but not causing too much pain and suffering consciously we tend to avoid dealing with it because it will cause more discomfort to go into the depths of hidden emotions and core wounds. We often wait until we are so deeply triggered and experience intense pain and suffering before we decide something has to change and we embark on our healing journey. What if you could build the muscle and habit of going into your emotions, wounds and shadows when you're feeling grounded, centered, and "good" And what if by doing this you created a smoother healing journey for yourself because you're in a state where you're able to hold space for yourself rather than be overwhelmed by your emotions when you're triggered and emotionally charged trying to understand why this thing is happening to you, how could this person do this to me.. What if you didn't need to wait to be triggered, to experience intense pain to go within, heal, expand and experience incredible joy, bliss, connection, self-love and inner peace? Because that's what's on the other side of the healing journey, that's what's awaiting you. In this episode I share some powerful insights and experiences I have received that have given me the opportunity to take my power back, lean into discomfort, feel my deepest emotions and transform my state of being in triggering times and in turn transform my life.
