9 | Is Jesus actually your high priest?

If Jesus is actually your high priest— the one whom you appeal to on behalf of your sins— then you’ve got a decision to make: You can— 1️⃣ Appeal to the Law and your self-righteousness OR— 2️⃣ Appeal to Jesus and HIS righteousness on your behalf… But… You’ve got to make a choice. 👇   Here’s why: Under the Old Testament Law, Jesus wasn’t qualified to be a priest. He’s of the tribe of Judah— not the tribe of Levi. And all of the priests (under the Law) come from the tribe of Levi (see Hebrews 7:11-8:4). So… 🥁🥁🥁   If you access Jesus, you can’t access the Law. It’s OUT.
