9. Lake Monsters

People have an inherent fear of large bodies of water; afraid of what terrible monsters lie beneath, waiting to eat them alive. It's a fear that is perhaps older than mankind itself, and it is that fear that spawns such deep curiosity in lake monsters such as Nessie of Loch Ness, Scotland, Champ of Lake Champlain and others. In this episode we dive into the stories of lake monsters and the media industry that seems to profit millions from the fearful curiosity of people. Could it be that lake monsters are simply a means to make money? Or is there some dark truth behind the stories of lake monsters. Show support for the show by visiting our storefront HERE.
