#9: Rob Hagans

In 2019, I struck up a friendship with an independent American screenwriter and filmmaker based out of Frederick, Maryland in the United States. What follows is one of my favourite conversations I’ve had. Rob Hagans is making a name for himself as a true independent and unique filmmaker in a style all to his own. In the following, we discuss the filmmaking process, our influences, and what it’s truly like to be an independent filmmaker in a post-streaming world. You can catch him on his own podcast Screenwriting from the trenches: https://anchor.fm/rob-hagans4 Or on Twitter: @BspectacledMofo See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
