#9 Sustainability Series - The impact of microplastics
from Burgess Yacht Crew · host Burgess Yachts
To mark World Ocean’s Day, this year’s theme being ‘Revitalization: collective Action for the Ocean’ we wanted to open up the conversation about the impact of yachting on our oceans and begin exploring the small changes we can all make to help protect the ocean that sustains and supports us and our industry. Join us throughout this series where in each episode we will tackle a different environmental issue faced by those working in the superyacht industry. Our first episode is all about MICROPLASTICS - what are they, where do they come from and what can we do to reduce the amount entering our oceans. We are joined by Alex Guy and Elliott McMullan, both ex crew now working at Burgess, alongside Michela Betti and Georgina Menheneott from the Burgess Blue Oceans programme. New episodes from this series will be posted at the end of each month ⏰ Follow us @burgessyachtcrew
