I’ve been wanting to talk to Abby about one of her all time favorite drinks, the Bananarac. It’s a riff on the Sazerac that employs a banana liqueur and it’s delicious. The BananaracCocktail Codex; Natasha David1oz Pierre Ferrand 18401 oz Overholt Rye (or Rittenhouse)1/2 oz Giffard Banane du Brésil1/2 tsp Demarara Gum SyrupGarnish: 1 lemon twist (for spritz)Rinse a chilled double rocks glass with absinthe. Stir all ingredients (except the lemon) over ice, strain into the absinthe-rinsed glass.
