HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! We hope your 2019 is off to a great start! We welcome Dr. Eric Christensen to Pain Reframed! We're extremely excited to have Eric on the show. Not only is Eric a friend and colleague, but he's the owner of Chandler Physical Therapy in Chandler, AZ and author of the book "Breathe Better." Eric, Tim, and Jeff will be discussing Eric's book and how and why Eric wrote and uses the book for patient care. Eric graduated with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy program from Regis University in 2009, where he published a journal article on the effect of whiplash on the cross-sectional area of the muscles surrounding the throat as well as presenting at multiple conferences. He graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Exercise Science and a focus in Sports Medicine. In practice, Eric enjoys working with all populations of patients in the orthopedic and neurological field. He has specialized in custom orthotic prescription and casting, vestibular reprogramming, and manual therapy. Eric takes a developmental approach to rehabilitation utilizing the Selective Functional Movement Assessment. He uses functional movement patterning and manual therapy to return patients to prior levels of function. ALSO! Save the date!! It's coming up quickly!
