Then Mrs. Robertson sold the home and stayed in the house as a tenant for her final years. 95 Ashley Avenue This single house was built in the mid 19th century by William A Courtenay and was remolded between 1883 and 1893. William Ashmead Courtenay was Mayor of Charleston from 1831 to 1908
