She has both her Bachelor of Human Kinetics degree minoring in sciences, as well as her Bachelor of Education degree from UBC Vancouver. She has taken numerous workshops with Options for Sexual Health and the Alberta Society for the Promotion of Sexual Health. As a Sexual Health Educator, she teaches all students in grades 4 through 11. In grades 4-6, her teaching focuses on subjects like the physical, social, and emotional changes of puberty, hygiene and personal safety and boundaries.
