Meet Drew Burtner. Unlike most broker's origin stories, Drew's journey into logistics began with a trial by fire. In 2018, he found himself thrust into the world of freight brokerage when his former partner enlisted him in order to circumvent a non-compete agreement. Forced to learn the ropes with little assistance, Drew began his career in open deck and drayage, moving steel, chassis stacks, and containers while servicing major corporations such as Walmart, Dollar General, and Home Depot. Despite the odds, Drew thrived, managing full truckloads across various commodities and modes.  Since then, he has honed his skills and expanded his offerings to simplify companies' supply chains. His comprehensive approach encompasses ocean freight, drayage, dock & warehouse services, and over-the-road trucking, positioning him as a one-stop solution for streamlined logistics operations.  His primary focus in over-the-road trucking lies in handling open deck and specialized power-only freight, but he has built his business by saying, "yes," when faced with new challenges. Currently, he is interested in assisting green energy companies by identifying those being overcharged by their current providers and presenting a competitively priced alternative while upholding exceptional customer service standards.  Drew is married to the love of his life, Chelsea, and together they have 2 sons and a daughter on the way. In true freight broker fashion, when he's not with his family, Drew takes on the challenge of guiding his golf ball along the shortest route to the hole, only to watch it take scenic detours that most GPS units would scratch their heads at!
