#92: Chronic illness/adversity in life & relapses

from Recovering with Danie | Eating Disorder Recovery Podcast · host Danie van Kay | Licensed eating disorder recovery coach

As most of you know, I have a chronic illness (lyme's disease). While at a certain point it motivated me in my recover, chronic illness, but also life-adversity in general, can be a HUGE trigger for (relapses of) eating disorders. So how do you deal with them without turning to food/your eating disorder as a way to cope? And if you do, how can you learn from it in order to avoid it in the future? Do you feel like you need more help recovering from your eating disorder? Whether you struggle with anorexia, bulimia, OSFED, or other (un)diagnosed disordered eating issues, I'm here to help! Just recently my new program, The Booster Intensive, launched. Besides this program, I've got some other programs as well, and free spots from February 2024 onwards. If you are interested in working with me, feel free to take a look at my website and sign-up or contact me. You can also always DM me on Instagram!
