Paul and Barnabas face severe resistance in Iconium and Lystra, demonstrating that spreading the Gospel often invites conflict. Despite being stoned and left for dead, Paul rises and continues preaching, exemplifying unwavering commitment to God's mission. The miracles performed by Paul and Barnabas illustrate God's power working through them, reinforcing their message despite opposition.


The disciples' support for Paul after he is stoned highlights the importance of Christian fellowship in overcoming trials. We are encouraged to stand firm in our faith, trusting in God's strength and the support of our spiritual community, even when faced with the "sticks and stones" of life's challenges.
