93. Charlie Stemp

He can sing, he can dance, he can act….and he’s a dab hand with yer dahlias - it’s West End leading man Charlie Stemp. Seb and Verity caught up with Charlie in his (very lovely) dressing room at the Prince Edward Theatre in December, towards the end of his run playing chimney sweep Bert in Mary Poppins. Charlie chats about Crazy For You where he soon to be reprising his critically acclaimed role as Bobby Child when the production to the Gillian Lynne Theatre in June. They discuss how he plans to keep fit and healthy for eight shows a week in this hugely demanding role, the art of comedy on stage and what he likes to do in his downtime.
