93: Eating Bread Without Mind Drama
from The Christian Health Club Podcast · host The Christian Nutritionist
I’ve had an interesting relationship with bread over the last 15 years. For a long time I avoided it and felt guilty if I ate it. But here recently I’ve been making and eating a lot of bread and I don’t feel one smidgen guilty. I know how to work it into my diet without becoming unhealthy or gaining weight and, more importantly, I have peace and no mind drama about it.In a way, my evolution with bread reminds me of my evolving relationship with God. I had a lot of guilt and fear about Him. When I felt Him nudging me to be The Christian Nutritionist, I wanted to avoid Him; I didn’t want to be too Jesusy. And, now, I want to eat all the bread. The flour kind and the Jesus kind. In this week’s podcast I’m sharing the steps I’ve taken over the years to improve my approach with both and how freeing it is to love and eat bread with no mind drama!
