I am thrilled to have you join me in my conversation with Mike O’Connor. Mike has had and continues to have a unique and outstanding career, beginning with 12 seasons of professional baseball, including 4 in the MLB with the Washington Nationals and the New York Mets.  Mike works for Early, Cassidy & Schilling (EC&S) as Vice President of the  Premier Client Group, serving the personal insurance needs of successful individuals, families, and professional athletes. Mike graduated from the George Washington University in 2002 with his degree in Finance. He currently lives in Bethesda, MD. In this episode, we are going to explore Mike’s journey from being called up to the Majors, what that was like, his experience there, and then we will dive in to have a look at what was a difficult transition back to the “real world” from his world of professional sports. We will look at the tools and mindset that helped him pivot, and celebrate where he is today!
