In the last two episodes we have looked at how Christ loves the church as an example of what the husband's role is in marriage. Knowing that none of us can live up to the perfect love of Christ, we have also talked about what our realistic expectations of our husbands should be. By knowing what their role is, having grace and mercy to understand that we are all a work in progress, by being encouraging, rather than fight against them, we can work together with our husbands to have the kind of loving marriage that God designed for us to have.
