93: The Year of the Humanoids, Pt. 1: The Piedmont Lights & Coyne Helicopter Case with Kay Gray

The Year of the Humanoids was a unique time in UFO history. Over the course of four months, the eastern United States saw a high concentration of UFO sightings characterized by unique humanoids in association with them. Bigfoot type creatures, BAEliens, catfish-like creatures, and a myriad of other odd beings doing odd things. During that time in 1973 a pair of cases stood out. For months, in and around the small town of Piedmont, Missouri, numerous residents reported encounters with mysterious orange lights, and strange crafts of all shapes and sizes. Later that year, in October, a helicopter over Mansfield, Ohio had a remarkable encounter with a UFO that forced their plane to make evasive maneuvers and was even responsible for a mysterious change in elevation.   Sources:Daily American Republic.
