93: Zen and the Art of Hunting

On this show, Adam is joined by another return visitor, Emory Wanger. Emory is the host of the BY LAND podcast and runs his own website catered to all things backpacking, which can be found at www.byland.co. On the site, you will find a full list of his podcast episodes and guests as well as some interesting articles and material focused on backpacking, hunting and a whole melting pot of other subjects related to our world. Emory initially appeared on Episode 69 when we discussed his completion of the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT), which is roughly 2,000 miles. He finished it in six months. A pretty phenomenal feat without a doubt. Since then, Adam and Emory and have kept in touch, and recently, Emory sent Adam an email that prompted a second appearance on the show. Like most of us, Emory is very passionate about hunting and how hunting is perceived by the non-hunting public, so this episode will feature Emory's perspective on just that topic.
