933 Earthquake strikes Kansas above Ancient Volcanoes at Midcontinent Rift System

This fault, part of the ancient Midcontinent Rift System, is capable of producing moderate to potentially damaging earthquakes, with the largest historical event estimated at magnitude 5.5 in 1867.
