Before stepping into this role in August, 2020, she was Professor and Chair of Political Science. Jasmine grew up in Brooklyn, New York and earned her degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (BA) and University of Texas at Austin (PhD). She joined the faculty at UofL in 2002. Her courses and research span all three branches of the US government.
