94. LASHCON 2019 Replay - Life After Lashing Panel

Today we are releasing one of my favorite panel presentations at LashCon 2019. In this session, we had Jamie Butler (LashBase), Katie Gross (Lash Artist Box), Mike & Shaune Jones (LivBay Lash) Malaena Kelson (Lash Happy) and Lana Wyer (Lux Uncut) come together and talk about building a second business based on their lash passion. Becoming a lash boss is an amazing and fulfilling career, but for many of us, we didn’t realize how physically demanding it can be. When our backs tighten up or our wrists scream in pain, one has to question can I really do this for another 20-30 years? Our industry is still so new and because of that, there are a lot of opportunities to serve our industry without having to do lashes for the rest of your life. In this recording, we talk with a handful of lash bosses who are training, developing products, and starting side businesses that support our industry.
