#940 - Gene Mitchell Returns

The Gene Mitchell Returns Interview with Unplugged Performance is featured on The Paul Leslie Hour.

Are you here? You’re the “you” we had in mind and the “here” is The Paul Leslie Hour, your source for interviews and content you can’t get anywhere else.

We have something from the archives, it’s an interview and unplugged acoustic/vocal performance with Gene Mitchell, recorded on location in Panama City Beach, Florida!

Gene Mitchell was the first guest to appear three times on Paul’s old radio show. He is a singer, songwriter, entertainer and recording artist.

On this episode, Gene Mitchell will be giving us a swing around the islands. Gene writes songs about tropical islands, tropical beaches, tropical drinks, sailing, island adventure and romance. Are you beginning to see a theme?

At time of this taping, Gene had released a total of ten albums featuring some of the best musicians around. He’s continued making even more albums and in our opinion they are all pure enjoyment. Check out genemitchell.com for more information about our special guest.

This show will feature the storytelling of Gene Mitchell, as you may expect. But, in addition to Paul’s conversation with Gene Mitchell, there’s an added bonus. Gene will be giving you an unplugged acoustic/vocal performance.

You can tune in to this show pretty much anywhere, but did you know you can listen on YouTube too? Some of you probably are right now! Please consider subscribing to Paul Leslie’s YouTube channel. It’s a great way to keep up with all of our content as Paul and many of you listeners roll into 20 years!

I’m ready to hear from Gene - Gene the dancing machine. Let’s listen. Together!

The Paul McGregor Podcast Paul McGregor On the 4th March 2009, my life changed forever. My Dad, the man I looked up too, the man who in my eyes had 'everything' on paper took his own life. After it happened I struggled to deal with the grief, I buried the pain and found myself asking the question 'why' over and over again. I too then found myself struggling with depression and anxiety. This Podcast is all about documenting not only my own personal journey to discovering more about mental health and suicide, but to also document other stories too. It's time to talk about mental health, it's time to give it the voice it deserves and hopefully this Podcast can provide that. Hopefully this Podcast helps show others that they're not alone...Paul McGregor is an author, lecturer, a mental health advocate, husband, Father of 2 and avid Liverpool supporter. He shares daily content, giving mental health a voice across multiple social platforms and through speaking and workshops across the UK.<p style='color:grey; THE PAUL HALME AUDIO ADVENTURE Paul Halme Business, Fitness and Fun! The Paul Salamone Podcast Paul Salamone Berlin-based comedian Paul Salamone rants about pop culture, local geography, and books he's reading while playing cheap electronic music live on a synthesizer. Hear old road stories and laugh at Paul's attempts at self-improvement, foreign language mastery and financial freedom... all of it back by occasional techno jams, weird reggaeton and chiptune stupidity.
