Dr. Martin looks at three major articles on depression. Two involve the use of antidepressants, the third about how hopelessness, loneliness, and unhappiness accelerate the aging process. It's being reported that long term use of SSRI antidepressants can double your risk of heart disease. Dr. Martin has said multiple times that SSRIs were meant as a short-term fix.
