95) Inside Men's Minds - Mental Health - Slater Menswear and Samaritans

from CamBro Conversations · host Colin Campbell

Today's conversation is something a little bit different. To help raise awareness of the truths surrounding men’s mental health, and to encourage the power of conversation, we partnered with suicide prevention charity, Samaritans to sit down with six men from varying backgrounds and have a raw conversation. The episode was recorded in the wake of the shocking statistic that in August 2021, UK mental health referrals hit their highest point in two years. In the episode, we open up about topics that Samaritans state as their most reported reasons why people turn to the charity. These being workplace stress, loneliness, relationships, and money. Slater Menswear invited six men from various backgrounds, including a representative from the Samaritans charity, to sit down and openly discuss these topics. The panel include: Chris Reeve - Entrepreneur, Managing Director of a social media company. Lex Griffin - Fitness influencer. Mike Omoniyi - Social entrepreneur. Marco Robinson - Entrepreneur. Matthew Gray - Account Manager at Samaritans. And myself, Colin Campbell. The conversation is hosted by third generation Slater family member and previous podcast guest, Jonny Rose. Slater Menswear want to encourage the power of conversation. Getting you to talk to a loved one, talk to a friend, talk to a colleague. We can all be there for one another. Remember Samaritans are only a phone call away on 116 123. Connect with Slater Menswear: Insta - https://www.instagram.com/slatermenswear/
