959 BC: If My People...

from Message to Kings - A Biblical History of Man · host Brett Heaston

The grand opening of Solomon's Temple was fantastic! When the Ark was placed in the Holy of Holies, the Glory of Lord began to fill the temple preventing the Levites from conducting their sacrifices. Beneath the Glory Cloud, Solomon steps up and prays for himself, his nation, his people and intercedes on behalf of his descendants. Once Solomon has completed his prayers, he calls upon God to come and fill and rest in the Temple and God's response was fire from heaven that consumed the sacrifices and later Solomon's second encounter. 1 Kings 8 - 1 Kings 9:92 Chronicles 5-7Proverbs 16:10www.messagetokings.com
