If you know me, then you know that I have an extremely dark sense of humor and I love stand up comedy.As a language learner, being able to understand jokes and cultural humor is a sign that you’ve reached a relatively advanced level because stand up comedy is heavily influenced by culture. So if you can understand not only the words being said, but also the reason that people find it funny, then you’ve got a pretty good understanding of both the language and the culture.So this episode is for all of my stand up comedy lovers who want to put their English to the test and get more familiar with American culture.
