In this episode, I talk about how I've been feeling and what I've been thinking about over this past summer. Namely, about the intersection of beauty and death. I speak about how as I get older, a lot of my optimism and my desire to find "purpose" and "meaning" has become supplanted with unavoidable grief, death and sorrow. I question whether believing that everything happens for a reason is really just a manic and delusional avoidance of truth, honesty and sadness.
