96. Jeff Fuchs: "Behind The Leaves"

Jeff Fuchs is an award-winning Himalayan explorer, mountain guide, Tea junkie and author.  He has spent the last two decades documenting ancient Himalayan trade routes.  He has led and been a part of over 30 Himalayan expeditions and was voted as one of "Canada's 100 Greatest Explorers".  He is the first westerner to travel the Tea Horse Road by foot, an ancient and daunting network of paths through the mountains of Sichuan, Yunnan and Tibet where the earliest tea leaves were traded.  He is the author of the "Ancient Tea Horse Road" and "The Tea Sessions" and is the subject of an award-winning documentary called "The Tea Explorer".  He is also the Director of Outdoor Programming at the Akahi'ao Nature Institute which seeks to immerse youths in all things 'outdoors'.  He never travels without a stash of leaves and a tea pot...ever. __________________________ Connect with Jeff | Web: www.jefffuchs.com Non-Profit: www.akahiao.org Jalamteas: www.jalamteas.com IG: @jefffuchstea ___________________________ If you enjoy this show don't forget to leave a rating!
