I've been getting asked this question a lot lately. If I remediate the moldy building materials, why do I have to clean my house afterwards? Remediation includes 2 phases. > Phase 1: Source Remedaition (Removing walls, ceilings, etc. where mold was found growing) > Phase 2: Home Cleanse (Cleaning the entire home from cross contamination) Most people only want to do phase 1. Heck, many remediation companies only know about phase 1! But phase 2 is so important. And without it, you'll likely come back into your home and not feel significantly better. Then you'll think remediation doesn't work and feel like you need to burn your house down.
