Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, listening to the old talk, car podcast hosted by fellow riders, special guest with me today, the Kabucha Kid. The Kabucha Kid. That's it, I'm going good mate, how are you? I'm good, so we've got George Marani with me and we're doing another live drive, we're sitting inside an Audi RS5 Coupe.

That's correct. These vehicles are believable weapons. Yes. It's the first time driving one.

Yes. So let's get started. Where's the start button? Just right there mate, that's it, hit foot on the brake.

Ooh, okay, so we basically just started, like all the bills and whistles. Alright, then what we'll do, sorry. Alright mate, we'll just minimise this sound here somewhere, I've never had to do it. Put on this steering wheel.

Yeah, I've got it found there. So basically, alright, so we don't even know where the button's at. So there you go. We hardly drive it.

So basically, we just started, we're going to drive out of the lair and take it for a quick drive. So basically it's a six, three six twin turbo. Yes. Let's put in drivers.

So you keep the, not that far, so. There you go. And now hold on, handbrake. And now we're, I'm watching walls so we can get it out.

I can't understand. There's a head up display. There is a head up display. Yep.

It's traditional Audi. Whoever's familiar with Audi, you've got your, you know, your central screen sitting up on the dashboard there. It's the full Audi cockpit, virtual cockpit dash. And we've got it in a sport mode with a tackle in the middle, with a speedo, digital speedo in the middle, maps on one side, power and torque meter on the other side.

Let's see if we can get that right around. Yep. But it's all typical Audi interior if you're familiar with Audi's. You're down here.

LED lights, the cup holders are lit up like a disco. Yes. So how long have you added for it, George? Mate, a few months now.

Yeah, during it. Well, it's packed more than it's driven, but you know, we're going to wait. Yes, like slowly. Yep.

Getting it is the hard part. Yep. Once you've got it. So we're going to have some speedoffs.

The suspension's quite soft. Yep. I'm sure we can adjust it. We'll get outside.

Yeah. It can come at night at the moment. Yes. Yeah.

Yeah. The speed humps are not punishing as we get outside. Yep. It's very quiet, very docile.

So this is a way to drive it 20 kilometres an hour through the car park. Yep. And it's very young. What you can let a non-car enthusiast drive this and then we'll be none the wiser we've watched.

At the front when you unleash the wrath of an Audi. So that right there, what, mid 100s, 150, 150? Yeah, close to more than 200. Obviously there's a carbon park on this one, which is a 12k option, which is good.

I like it. It's actually supposed to lighten up the vehicle a little bit. It's a nice shade. Do you know what car this is?

Because I can describe how I do it. It's a, you're going to say primer. They're just for the front. I was going to say bathroom.

Yeah. Slate bathroom tile effect. It's a, the car has been used. I saw a Porsche McConroy's, I've pushed that in recently with that colour.

But it does stand out. So it's a unique, classic colour. Yeah, it's called not a great. Not a great.

Not a great. Not a great. It's part of the German rainbow. Well, yeah.

I think it's the 80s of offering it now with their vehicles. It's a black grey silver white. That's pretty much it. Yeah.

That's it. So basically now we're out in the open. Yeah. I like it.

I'm very comfortable. The seats are. Buckert. Yeah.

Did you feel it tight enough when you drove off when you jumped in? No. No. No.

No. I don't like that. But yeah. It's it's almost like an M3.

We had four really C63. Yeah. Arrival. It's in the same league.

Took the C63 one. Yeah. I'm driven by a car link. Oh, you beat it.

Yeah. It's all drives. The muffings are different. It's all played.

I have no idea. I doubt it. But this is all drive. Yeah, this is all drive.

So traction should be an issue. Especially when getting off the mark. Yeah. You're not going to crack.

Yeah. It's got all the USB. There is. I was in a weed spot.

Yeah. Yeah, exactly. The key is a typical sort of Volkswagen, Porsche, they've got the plus, they're all, like, if you're going to shift with the gear stick, it's got the positive forward and then they're going to be back, which is kind of intuitive compared to the WGBox or ZFD box, where when you break it, you forward it, you gear down. But you usually use the pedals on these types of cars, so...

You're not going to need it when you put it in dynamic mode? That's right. Yeah. Okay.

So it's gearing up pretty quick, so this is like a normal comfort. Yeah, so if we change it up now, we can drive select as that up on the search. And then what we'll do is we'll pick it into dynamic and you can get it straight away. Hello, it's not a swagger.

Yeah. So this is now a dynamic mode. This is the dynamic mode, this is the sports plus mode. Can you change that on the steering wheel?

No, it's just on there. So you've actually got a lean over. Pretty sure, unless I haven't figured it out yet. What's that?

Yeah. Wow, it just wakes up. Yeah, it does, though. So it's just in the sharper mode?

That is in the sharper mode, this is it. There's individual mode then, you can want to really crank it up about your own style. Yep. But, you know, dynamic, I think, pushes all the right buttons.

Yeah, the suspension has hardened up. It is bouncy, but it's not bow jerry. Back jerry. Yeah.

But the steering is very direct. That's not you making that noise. No, no, no. Purely the car.

Purely the car. I think. What do you reckon? Nick Van.

What's for its paces? Yeah. I mean, it's agile. It doesn't feel, I've driven a lot of the first series 85.

Yeah. The 3.2 litre V6. And it felt heavy. Yes.

Where this car feels really agile, really alive. Yeah. Depends at the last one I drove. But this is like the latest.

It is. Okay. It's a drag of fun too. It's not a second.

Yeah. I don't like where the drive selects. It'll lean over. Well, mate, I think so.

I think that I haven't really missed it. I haven't really missed it. Yes. I have to mess with it a little bit.

I've got to be honest. You've got everything. You've got everything. Yeah.

You've got your cruise control with the distance. You've got your auto wipers. Yeah. You've got your, you know, your rear-end, left-handed store.

You've got 12-volt. You've got USB. You've got the USB. You've got the map.

You've got all the features through the screen. The console is clean. It's easy. You've got three and four screens like Range-Rovers and the lights.

It's all quite simple, but the world is going back seats. So you can fit kids in the back. Yeah. You can, if you're drawing a metal, but you're not going to fall.

Yeah. You're not going to be there. Definitely not. No.

That really looks uncomfortable. You've got the carbon fiber scanner all over the dashboard. That's what the carbon fiber option. I can take this out of here.

Yeah. Yeah. But at the end of the day, we made a sensible decision. No.

We decided to do that. A couple of these big enough. Yeah. Yeah.

Redeberg release. Spang knowledge of the sound system. Yeah. I'm pretty sure it is.

Actually, there's two sound systems. There was the 13 speaker. Yeah. It was.

And then there was another one. I think this is the 13 or 40. I'm pretty sure. With the speakers.

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

I was handling. Okay. I mean, this world of poor surfers is not very smooth. No, it's not.

But in terms, maybe you point it and close. I think this brings. It's a big one on a smooth track. I am quite impressed.

Thank you. Yeah. But in these one you came up with me talking about it, I think you said other stuff. I think I said other things as far up.

We can, that's okay. We can bring. You can also beat your rocks. It's good.

I'll drive my first Range Rover Defender. Yeah, there you go. We'll drive it to the heartbeat. I was very impressed actually.

And we will set a lot of comments about manufacturing. Yeah, yeah. Exactly. I think you should drive the Range Rover Sport to be here.

Yeah. Go in the back of the set. Yeah. So we're going to go out on the motorway.

But yeah, on four roads. on four roads it really you'd have to drive it in some kind of comfort mode yeah where it is a bit visually bouncy on four roads building for the purpose of the exercise I think you're on the motorway in its dynamic format yeah give it a go and then I think I'll have to put the comfort back on it. Like I said it's small on your face. I'm smiling when I was coming up there but man I'm getting a hit okay.

But I mean this is not the least part I mean you could put an AMJ or a RMI throughout every drive into this mode. Yeah it is very firm and we are a pretty cheap out here it makes sense for that. Yeah but it does get a bit bouncy alright here we go really. Have a listen at this everyone.

It works today. It does. I shouldn't even ask you if I could do that. That's alright.

I'm sure you're good for it. Yeah so we've got to that speed. Let's call it 100 if you want to. I've got to 100 if I was in a very good.

In no time I wasn't counting. Yeah. But that was pretty quick. And it's a lot more forgiving on the motorway.

And that's not a bit for throttle. No it's not. That's just touching it. Yeah.

If I was to buy this car we'd ride to the RMI. And just handy for my licence. I went and got my first finding of the other day. Oh mate.

Got a quick car. Yeah they're not bad. You know what like and have you driven an Audi R8? No I guess I have.

You have driven an Audi R8. What are your thoughts? It was not as quick as it is yet. It was an early model R8.

It was about four or seven or eight years ago. It's a lot smoother. But like I said we really. So I can down it down by pressing the arrow down is it?

Yep just press it and then push it up actually. No other part. Yep that's it. I think it's all right.

That's it. That's it. There you go. So now we're back on.

There's a word here. Yeah like with the R8 was it. It felt like doing a good compared to this. It still feels like I'm in size car.

Yeah. Which it is based on the A485. It's on platform. Yeah.

The R8 it did rev out. It was the V10. It was the manual. It was the automatic.

But I mean how you've always had the DSG. It was the electronic gearbox. They're pretty good gearbox. I've never had any complaints with the Audi boxes.

A lot more concur and you felt like you're in a sporty car. Where this thing stinks stealth. I mean you feel like you're in a room inside. It's nice and wide.

You could drive this interstate without the problem. I'd probably set it in comfort. It'd be two bouncy and especially with the concrete type three ways that we built in Australia. There's expansion.

Joy to pretty rough. We've got to taste it before. But mate this thing likes to dance. The enemy is amazing.

We all drive. Keeps you planted. I'm impressed mate. It's a nice car.

Thank you. Well done. Well done. I think it thumbs up.

Yeah. It's fun. Thumbs up. So thank you to the Kibuchia kid for taking the Harris for Hokeout for driving.

So when you're going to fill up a machine you fill up every three days with this thing. Every two. Yeah. At the moment I've actually done a new drink called Boss.

It's a caffeine. Have you seen that? The Boss. It's not the Japanese one that automatically heats up.

No, no. It's not. So actually ice coffees. They taste good.

And they've got a lot of specials on them at the moment. You know you're going to get two for eight at the moment. It's in a can. Like a Red Bull can.

Yep. It's like a damn you're like 100%. But it's ice coffee and it actually tastes good. So it's actually replacing Red Bull a little bit for me.

So you've gone off the amplifier. The amplifier in Kombucha hasn't made a comeback. No. No.

It hasn't made a comeback. We're on to Boss. We're on to Boss. So there you go.

The coffee. We're still in the Kombucha. But we're on to Boss there. And with this thing you'd be buying it.

Today's it. So like I said, it's a beautiful car. I really enjoyed it. We've got a special treat coming up in the next episode where...

Yeah, we do. I'm obviously getting married. Yeah, that's one. And we've got a fleet of pourshes for his wedding cards.

Yep. So we're all going to be out there. I think we'll join our next episode. We're going to drive from...

They're all good 9-11s but we're going to work our way up to it. Yeah. I won't reveal what yet. And you'll see photos on Instagram and the coming days.

So that's coming up. And our surprise for the 100th is on. It is on. It is on.

I just heard you told me earlier. I'm very excited about it. The vehicle is now back and available. Yes.

And we've got a big 100's coming up. We're all excited. Yep. So we've got some big guests coming up as I promised.
