98. Clothe Yourself in Christ

from I Like Birds Podcast · host Zach Rippey

After reading through these two chapters in Hebrews, I am convinced and confident in the truth that sets us free. Christ overcame the devil and we are to clothe ourselves in the lord Jesus Christ on a daily basis and put on the full armor of God. We must do everything in our power to not step outside and away from God’s protection, because if we step out in the world and start getting caught up in the storm of the spiritual war that goes on everyday, then we leave ourselves exposed to whatever satan wants to bring our ways. This is why it’s important for Christians to do our best to remain guarded against even the slightest worldly things that may tempt us. We all have strongholds and we all have certain sins that still excite us. Putting yourself in the best situation to avoid temptation is a healthy way to stay fully armed with our identity in Christ. This Episode hones in on this truth, and we even discuss why Jesus is superior to the Angels... and so are we :) We also discuss, labor shortages, supply chain issues, vax mandates, and people who wear mask in their car haha. Good times on this episode. There are some jokes for sure! #SHARE this Podcast with a friend or 12.  Get a shirt, read a bird blog, support the ministry at https://www.ilikebirdspodcast.com/
