98: Fordz-A-Horizon

from The Tangent

The Tangent - 98: Fordz-A-Horizon This week we take on the big Nintendo Switch launch details. What we like. What we didn't like. So, needless to say there is a lot to talk about. As is usually the case, in a day or two we'll know more (when you get this podcast), but before all that, we get into Under Your Thumb. Starting off this week is Justin. He's got some things to say about Dishonored 2 having recently purchased the game. Mass Effect 3 is on his plate too, but the conversion derails into talking about how bad Mass Effect 2 was. Which leads us straight to Gary. In what will be one of many Steam games, he's got The Butterfly Sign. A detective game, but more importantly, he's playing on "Ultra". He's PC "ELITE". Or so he claims. I'll mention briefly Overwatch, where Gary is finally ranked gold on the PC. Next is Anthony, and he's got a few free Playstation Plus games. Let It Die, Hyper Light Drifter, and Everyone's Gone To The Rapture. The ladder, in which Brian had played a while back. Finally, Brian wraps the segment up with Forza Horizon 3 (which feature mainly Ford cars, according to Justin) and Beyond Eyes. Beyond that, in the news, we have of course the Nintendo Switch presentation (which we managed to figure out what time it was being broadcast), hackers unlocking the NES Classic, Razer getting their laptop prototype stolen at CES, and a Gears of War lawsuit.  The Drunken Show Notes: Hackers unlock NES Classic, upload new games via USB cable Razer's show-stealing prototypes stolen from CES Microsoft Cancels Scalebound [UPDATE] Nintendo files patent relating to haptic feedback vibration system Man Launches Gears of War Lawsuit, Claims Cole Train Is Based on Him Nintendo announces new paid online service for Switch Bomberman, Street Fighter Returning On Switch Nintendo Switch Battery Life 2.5 to 6.5 Hours Depending on the Game Nintendo Switch Will Not Be Region Locked Nintendo Switch Launching March 3 Nintendo Switch's Online Services Detailed The Big List of Announcements   Extras Creep us on Facebook Stalk us on Twitter Watch us on YouTube Or throw us that review on iTunes or Stitcher Questions, comments, concerns?
