98 ~ How to Set Boundaries with the Opposite Sex to Protect Yourself & Your Marriage

from Faith Lived Out ~ God’s Wisdom for Marriage & Becoming a Submissive Wife · host Nanci Adamson ~ Christian Mentor I Bible Teacher I Speaker l Women’s Ministry Leader

Scripture can be a bit vague as to how we are to treat those of the opposite sex. Couple that with our desire to push the limits, not wanting to hurt someone’s feelings, or society’s passion for attention and ever changing view on sex outside of marriage, and we can find ourselves in some pretty muddy water. What was once thought of as outrageous or scandalous behavior with someone of the opposite sex, is now not only commonplace, but often encouraged.  But as Christian woman and wives, where do we draw the line? What conduct or behavior is acceptable to God and how do we keep ourselves or our husbands from falling into the slippery slope of an affair? Today we will look at God’s Word to bring us some clarity on what the expectation is in this, as well as some necessary boundaries to set in place to protect ourselves and our marriages. Let’s get started.   Scripture References 1 Peter 3:2 Titus 2:4-5, 6-8 Colossians 1:22 1 Timothy 5:1-2 James 1:14-15 Proverbs 7:21 1 Corinthians 10:13 Acts 4:19-20 2 Corinthians 10:5 Proverbs 16:3 Mark 14:38 Proverbs 7:15, 23, 25-26 Proverbs 7:1-5 2 Thessalonians 3:3   🌟100th Episode Celebration Giveaway🛍️ *️⃣Ways to Enter Email ~ I Want To Win! to [email protected] Post in FB Community ~ I Want to Win!
