98 - Random Ontario Stouts (Whitewater Brewing Company and Left Field Brewery)

In our last episode of the year, Tom and John close out 2022 by sampling a selection of random Ontario craft stouts. First up are two from Whitewater Brewing Co.: the oatmeal milk MIDNIGHT STOUT; and the breakfast flavoured PEANUT BUTTER AND RASPBERRY SHAKE. Our last selection (and last beer of the year!) is the mocha marshmallow stout SWEET SPOT from Toronto's Left Field Brewery. We had fun getting back into the world of craft stouts and hope to sample more in the early winter months of 2023. Along the way we also discuss wolf branding (and why it's better than cottage branding) and Tom shares his story about roasting marshmallows with a Zippo lighter.
