#99: Don’t Shoot the Messenger

In today’s world, which often emphasizes external validation and comparison, as humans, we generally feel the need to conform to others’ expectations and societal norms. We tend to forget that God sees past all of our flaws and imperfections. Jeanette reminds us that God can use anyone, regardless of how broken, hurt, or damaged they may be. In fact, He uses anyone who is willing to answer His call and surrender. Tune in as Jeanette recounts how she, too, had to give up control and trust in God during a trying time in her life. Trusting God and taking His Word to heart makes surrender possible, but it is still not easy. We must always be ready to respond to God's call to action at any time. Always keep in mind that whatever we do in this world, we do as the hands and feet of Jesus. “Sometimes we as people, as human beings, forget that God has used so many different types of people, non-traditional people, to share His message.” “We think that God can't use us because we've been hurt... we're not good enough to be the messenger for God.
