Attending college during the rapid rise of college costs, Elaine found her career in helping people avoid some of the mistakes she made. She has worked in higher education access and finance for more than 14 years, including seven years with the U.S. Department of Education's office of Federal Student Aid. She is currently the Director of Corporate Communications at Edvisors, where she continues to pass on her knowledge to help others achieve higher education success.  Elaine volunteers in the local Las Vegas community to help students and families understand the importance of education for success. She also sets aside time to answer questions or go live on our social media pages to help others in real time in both English and Spanish. As a first-generation college student from a multicultural background, she brings her personal experience to help others find a path to their own success. Elaine emphasizes the idea of success is a unique, and everyone can have their own version.  Elaine holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a concentration in Public Policy and Administration from Northeastern University. But it took her exploring three majors before she figured out her passion.
