99: Revealing the Layers of You - The Practice of Svadhyaya

Continuing our studies of the niyamas (guidelines for internal work) we really start to dig deep into what it means to reflect on ourselves and our connection to the world and to the universe. The fourth niyama is svadhyaya - self-study - and it's here that the work can start to get really interesting and, at times, really intense. What would it mean to take a deep, honest look at who you are? At your thoughts, at your stories, at what might be holding you back from where you want to be? We'll talk about cultivating the witness and learning to more objectively look at our emotions and responses in life. Remember, you are worth the effort it takes to follow the unique path toward your highest self! Side note: in the episode, I mention a book I'm reading and I call it "Who Am I?" There is a book by that name that is really interesting, but it's not the book I'm talking about.
